Strengths

  • SGX-2 Premium Piano engine with the Berlin D piano and modelled string resonance
  • Nine engines plus KARMA and a 16-track MIDI and audio recording section
  • Approx. 2 GB PCM RAM and a 60 GB SSD expandable with a second internal drive
  • 16 effects at once from 185 types with EQ on every timbre and track

Weaknesses

  • 24.1 kg and a very large footprint
  • No published voice or preset total to compare against rivals
  • Superseded by the NAUTILUS, and the thin 240 x 64 dot secondary displays feel dated
